About Puja
Mahalakshmi Ashtakam Stotra Paath Puja is a very effective and simple way to receive the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. This stotra is believed to have been composed by Lord Indra, when he worshipped Goddess Lakshmi after being defeated by the demons. Eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi have been praised in Ashtakam – such as Dhana Lakshmi, Dhanya Lakshmi, Saubhagya Lakshmi, Gaja Lakshmi etc. Worshiping these forms brings wealth, happiness, prosperity, children, health, and victory in a person's life.
By reciting this on Friday, in the auspicious muhurta, Goddess Lakshmi is quickly pleased. Especially when there is frequent shortage of money, debt, hindrance in business or planetary defects in the house, then this stotra recitation is very fruitful.
