Tripindi Shraddha is a very important Vedic ritual, which is considered especially necessary for those people who have Pitra Dosh in their horoscope, or whose family faces obstacles related to Pitra Dosh. This ritual is performed to express respect and gratitude towards those departed ancestors, whose Shraddha or Tarpan could not be performed properly due to some reason during their lifetime or after their death.
