Tripindi Shradh

Tripindi Shraddha is a very important Vedic ritual, which is considered especially necessary for those people who have Pitra Dosh in their horoscope, or whose family faces obstacles related to Pitra Dosh. This ritual is performed to express respect and gratitude towards those departed ancestors, whose Shraddha or Tarpan could not be performed properly due to some reason during their lifetime or after their death. According to Vedic law, by performing Tripindi Shraddha, the effect of Pitra Dosh is reduced, the soul of the ancestors attains peace and they get satisfied and bless their descendants. As a result, happiness, peace, health, good fortune and prosperity remain in the family and the path of progress in life is paved.

Temple Details

Trimbakeshwar is one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, located in the Nashik district of Maharashtra.  This temple is situated near the Brahmagiri mountain, at the source of the Godavari River. Here, Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of Trimbak, believed to embody the combined essence of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Shiva). This pilgrimage site is highly renowned for special rituals such as Kalasarpa Dosha Shanti (removal of the ill effects of the Kalasarpa planetary alignment), Pitru Dosha Nivaran (removal of ancestral curses), Mahamrityunjaya Mantra chanting, and Rudrabhishekam (a ritualistic bathing of the Shiva lingam).
