The worship of Lord Ganesha is considered to symbolize the beginning of auspicious works in Hinduism. Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, is one of the most loved deities. This puja is performed to remove any kind of obstacles and ensure success in the task. Ganesh Puja is usually performed before any other havan and puja to avoid and remove any obstacles during the puja.
When a person starts any auspicious work such as new business, investment, housewarming, marriage, to reduce the inauspicious effects of Ketu, or on his birthday, Ganapati Puja is suggested.
• Ganesh Puja is performed by invoking Lord Ganapati, followed by chanting Ganapati Mantra and then Ganesh Puja is performed to receive his blessings.
Right Time of Ganesh Puja:
• Chaturthi Tithi: Ganesh Chaturthi is considered especially auspicious for the worship of Lord Ganesha.
• Shubh Muhurat: Brahma Muhurta, Abhijeet Muhurta, or other auspicious Muhurta should be chosen for the puja.
